On Tuesday October 28th, thirty five educators gathered at the Santa Maria Conference Center in Carroll, Iowa to fill their tool kit with many great resources in teaching economic and financial literacy in the state of Iowa.

Mary Suiter, Assistant Vice President and manager of economic education at the St. Louis Federal Reserve Bank, facilitated lesson plans, interactive activities, and state of the art videos explaining economic and financial literacy concepts.

Iowa middle and high school teachers left Carroll equipped with a number of new and innovative ways to teach financial literacy and established new peer contacts as well.
