Financial Literacy Advocates,

I am excited to announce a partnership between the Iowa Bankers Association, TS Institute and Ednalysis, an Iowa-based assessment company, to create Project Financial Literacy.

The goal of Project Financial Literacy is to promote financial literacy education by providing K-12 schools the ability to gauge student knowledge and skills, measure progress, and plan future programming through a competition-style event.  Details about the project, how it works and timeline information can all be found at http://www.projectfl.org

The Project is open and free to all Iowa high schools.  To fund the project, anyone may become a sponsor of a single or group of schools in Iowa.  Sponsors get recognition in many ways including logo and sponsorship recognition on management and sign-up pages that school administrators, teachers and students use. Additionally, there are opportunities to be part of the award process if a sponsored school wins one of the 10 $1,000 scholarships being offered by the Project.

We hope the competitive nature of the Project will encourage schools to focus on teaching some of these very critical skills.  Please consider becoming a sponsor to help ensure that the Project is and will continue to be a success in Iowa.
